Why use our tensile tight coupler?
The Aquagrip is our tensile tight coupler with a stainless steal gripring. We utilize a push-fit system in our Aquagrips. Meaning, no glue is needed, no drying time and thus no time is wasted.
Easily insert a PVC pipe in the coupler by using a push rod. The stainless steel gripring immediately grips the pipe very tightly, the pipe will stay in place and you won't be able to take it out after. The harder you pull the pipe, the tighter the grip ring becomes. The rubber seal ring will always seal around the pipe, even when the pipe is accidentally rotated.
The coupler is perfect for working with PVC drinking water pipes as well as PVC sewage pressure pipes because of the very simple installation, the speed and the reliability. In addition to the standard sizes of 63, 90, 110, 160, 200 and 250mm an Aquagrip XL is also available, with diameters 315 and 400 mm.
